Ocean Village Club ★★★★

The property is in immaculate condition with fabulous gardens, the room was spacious with lovely bathroom. The staff and service was superb they are highly efficient and very friendly. The hotel have their own cars that can take you wherever you wish to go for a small fee, the entire stay was faultless.

My only issue was the dining room seats aren’t the most comfortable.

Everything is clean, tidy, delicious food, wonderful staff, very nice private beach, pool area. There are many people in the hotel, it is quiet, you can relax well, everyone cares about you a lot. For my birthday I got a cake with a staff song - wonderful hotel, I would come back. ️

It was absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing. The gardens are lush green and the rooms were just beautiful. The food was also excellent!!!

The dress code for the men was a little unnecessary in our opinion- long pants and closed toe shoes didn’t really add to the experience, especially when it was so hot in the evenings. We loved our stay and it was really special; would have been just as special without a dress code.

We had a very pleasant 6 night stay at Ocean Village Club which was very good in all areas - the stuff is super friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, tasty and varied and the rooms are very nice and clean. The compound is also in a very good shape, with a big variety of different tropical plants and directly at the sandy beach. Prices for drinks and food are very reasonable, we strongly recommend the Passionfruit-Pineapple-Daquiri ;-)

That we had to leave... ;-) Only thing we would change are the chairs for breakfast and dinner, but this is very much compendated by all other top notch things.

The location was superb, the room was perfect and the staff were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the buffet dinners organized in the tropical garden during fullmoon evenings. This place is the ideal location for complete relaxation.

The staff are wonderful. Friendly and cheerful yet always professional. No exceptions! They really work hard in the background to ensure you have a good time. As a result, the property is clean, gardens manicured and food good.

All worked well for us. Nothing to dislike. A minor irritation is the US$20 cost for taking their taxi the 3km journey to Diani airport.

We had a fabulous stay here. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff were absolutely incredible! Highly recommend.

The food was exceptional - without exception every meal was wonderful. The staff were incredible, and made the place feel like home very quickly; they couldn't do enough for you. The location was convenient but it felt so private as well, despite being right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There are too many brilliant staff to mention them all but: Servers / Waiters: Mohammed, Johnson, Loice, Samaya - all were fantastic and Mo in particular just made the trip feel really special Hamisi in guest relations was very helpful throughout our stay. The bartenders were amazing. The chefs, all of them, were great to talk to during dinner! The check-in staff were fantastic and the drivers arranged by the hotel was great.

Outstanding staff. Fine architecture, beach (partly private so without beach boys) and food. We’re not at all into hotel entertainment events but the traditional dance and the staff singing the most beautiful birthday song to a guest were truly moving & absolutely authentic.

The internet - even if you pay the extra fee.

The atmosphere at the hotel was very quiet. The internet only was available at the reception and pool bar, which is intentional for the guests to disconnect and relax 100%. The staff was very helpful and kind always with a smile.

It is not the hotel fault but the guys at the beach can be annoying they trying to sell you stuff

Extremely quiet hotel, located in a fabulous garden, right on the beach, and outstanding dinner at night. The manager and his assistant (Ahmed) are present and 'hands on', the crew is well trained and very friendly?

Ocean Village Club was paradise! The food was delicious offering different cuisines each night we were there. The staff were warm and friendly, going an extra mile to make our stay even more comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the beach beds, relaxing, the ocean water was clean when the tides were high, and the pool was well maintained. We were awed by the monkeys jumping around, even outside our rooms :D which was outstanding. We also had fun being introduced to and playing a new game: petanque. Thank you for to the team for the much needed, relaxing and perfect vacation!!

We would recommend Ocean Village Club to provide more drinking water as this is a necessity to staying hydrated since we aren't allowed to bring our own drinking water from outside the lodge. It would have also been lovely if the table tennis table had been fixed so we could enjoy a proper game of table tennis - although, we enjoyed the challenge (since we weren't experts this wasn't so important)!

If you are looking for the ultimate relaxed atmosphere, don’t look elsewhere! This hotel has it all! Excellent service, good food, very nice and clean rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel offers fantastic food in luxurious environments! The green and well kept garden with the monkeys and bird life makes it even better. (Don’t be scared of the monkeys. The staff makes sure that you don’t get disturbed by them:) The staff is amazing! We felt they knew what we needed before we did our selves!! We stayed four nights, and it was all perfect. We ordered pickup at the airport in Mombasa. It was all smooth. We arrived very early in the morning, but our room was already there for us. The rooms were spacious, and had it all. The housekeeper was there after breakfast and in evening to make the room ready for the night! They also spray the room for insects. We never saw moscitos or other insect in our room. All perfect! Breakfast was very good and the restaurant has an amazing ocean view. They had several fresh pressed juices that tasted fantastic. And why not finish the breakfast with a glass of ice cold Prosecco (also included:) The lunch menu was varied and good. The dinner was very good and had different themes every night with several live cooking stations. Fresh fish, calamari and meat at the grill. Some of the nights they even move the restaurant out in the up lighted garden. The service during the day was some of the best we’ve ever had. It felt almost like personalized service. In Kenya they use the word “pole-pole” meaning slow down or something like that. You can feel that word during your whole stay. If you’re seeking a romantic, relaxing holiday in beautiful environment this is it!

The location is excellent, the rooms are great - good size, comfortable bed and clean, the staff are super friendly (especially Mohammad in the bar) and the food (breakfast and lunch - we didn’t have dinner there) was as good as anything we ate elsewhere. Oh - and the pool is very nice as well. Liked the way Arty (manager) was visible and took the time to engage with guests.

Hard to fault, but the one thing - and this may be a personal thing, is the need for men to wear long pants to dinner in the evening. It was for this reason that we ate dinner elsewhere. Not a major issue by any means and didn’t detract from our stay, but it just felt a little ‘old school’.

An exceptional stay with a perfect location and well maintained complex. Tge staff especially were courteous and well presented. I will definitely come again and recommend to my friends.

I honestly do not think there is any area I was dissatisfied with.

I liked everything. I have a suggestion though, at the concierge, where one is welcomed, could you have some cold water or cold juice in addition to coffee. Consider the heat in that area.

Everything was fine.

Very spacious and comfy room, spotless with nice environments. All the staff are so attentive and friendly that you feel like at home everyday. The beach area is very beautiful with white sands just few steps away. For most guests who need late checkout, they will provide a free room for you to stay. I stayed for 4 nights but actually wish to stay longer!

The dinning hall is too small for the guests especially for dinner. Live cooking take a lot waiting time. The one hour free wifi in room is very poor.
